“We’ve never been a family who’s gone on organised excursions. Having a child with complex needs and severe disabilities has meant that in the past we micro organised everything to the last possible detail so, to hand over that worry and stress to somebody else at first terrified us and, I admit to finding it stressful at first having someone else doing the organising!
I shouldn’t have worried though, Mary and the team at FTW are amazing, fantastic and experts in what they do. It was also so refreshing to be around other families in similar situations. No judgement, no strange looks, just lots of fun and laughter and help, if it was needed.”
